Flirting at the edge of a polymathic artistic practice, concepts are redacted and expanded through word and paint. It is the rhythms of acrylic that appeal so much on canvas while holding the vibrant language of colour. Yet it is an ernest interest of interactive art, a concern for space and sound that interconnects theory, dreaming and pragmatic making in the creative practice pursued by Rizpah. Romanticism lays the foundations in which an exploration of colour, emotion and energy fields amalgamate to understand individualism within contemporary Black British identities.
From the rolling hills of the Cotswolds to the Big Smoke, Rizpah roams the realms of the Royal College of Art, thinking, laughing, dancing, and making.
A spoken word artist, her performances can be found in the links below.
